Occupation municipality approves on building 108 settlement units north of Jerusalem

Israeli occupation municipality approved on building 108 settlement units north of the holy city; in a proactive move for -what it seems- some fears of the possibility of US president-elect Joe Biden interference.

Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation mentioned, that the municipality local committee for construction and planning approved yesterday on building the mentioned unites in “Ramat Shlomo” which borders Shuafat north of Jerusalem.
In January, The committee will meet again to implement more construction operations in the settlement before the inauguration of Joe Biden as the president of the United States.
Meanwhile, Israeli press sources revealed that the settlers are proactively trying to approve as much as possible of the construction operations, and the fear that Joe Biden might exert pressure on “Israel” to freeze construction.
Former US President Donald Trump opened the gates for Israel to intensify its occupational settlement operations in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, contrary to the International community consensus that confirms the illegality of settlements in those areas.
